Think Before You Leap

I am not saying the following has ever happened to me, but I am not saying it could never happen to me. I have called the newspaper office a few times about my late paper.

For all of us who are seniors - for all of you who know seniors - and for all of you who will be seniors.
It pays to be able to laugh about it when you are! And, speaking of senior moments:
'WHERE is my SUNDAY paper?'
The irate customer calling the newspaper office loudly demanded, wanting to know where her Sunday edition was. 'Ma'am,' said the newspaper employee, 'today is Saturday. The Sunday paper is not delivered until tomorrow, on Sunday .' There was quite a long pause on the other end of the phone, followed by a ray of recognition. as she was heard to mutter, 'Well, crap... so that's why no one was at church today.'

OK, my hubby and I are old enough to be sitting here laughing. Last week I went to the store for milk. I came home with $192.47 in groceries but no milk!

Hmm, I was wondering Lorrene -- what is your favorite recipe of all time & would you be willing to share it? i'm not much of a cook, but my daughter is taking cooking classes and LOVING it. She keeps asking me for new recipes! Do you have an all-time favorite?

I wish I could be more help, but I guess my all time favorite recipe is:
Get in car. Drive to Safeway. Park car.Go in store and get a shopping cart. Go to frozen food dept. Buy a frozen coconut cream pie. Instructions will be on pie.
Eat heartily.

Now that is my kind of cooking! I have to say that I have tore up the house looking for my cars keys only to find them in my pocket.

Is it Sunday today? I don't like Sundays because it means tomorrow is Monday and back to my Job. I tell ya if it wasn't for the pay check I would stay home.

Last Thursday I asked my husband why he hadn't brought in the milk delivered by the milkman. He politely replied that the milk is delivered on Thursday. I thought a minute...it was only Wednesday.
