Too Much Idle Time

I recently bought something on ebay. I know you’re curious so I’ll tell you what it was.
It was a set of Laura Ingalls Wilder "Little House on the Prairie books". I am so much into my second childhood it’s unreal. I wanted to read those books again. I am on the fourth one and thoroughly enjoying the books. Here is another small example of my second childhood action. When I received the books I entered a positive feedback on the lady’s Ebay site. I waited a week or so and didn’t get a feedback from her so I wrote this to my seller. Word for word this is what I said, "Do you not leave feed back for your buyers?" She responded immediately, "You didn’t need to get so nasty about it, I’ve had a death in my family and I am the only child so all the burden has been on me and ebay has not been on the top of my priorities". I didn’t want to start World War Three so I dropped it at that point. I see she left me a positive feedback. She said I was a great ebayer. I didn’t ask her to lie about it, she knows I am a nasty person and not a great ebayer at all. Not much to write about around here. Till next time.

Clothes rack? Perhaps after September. Right now it is just a huge thing that I trip over. I'll have you know I did a whopping two miles so far. Suddenly twenty a day seems abit far...

G2 (who also loves Laura Ingalls Wilder) You go girl! ;-)

Does enjoying Laura Ingalls Wilder mean I've entered my second childhood? Oh mercy! I'm doomed to die young then! :)

I'm so happy you're enjoying your books! Have a great weekend!

Many hugs............

My 33 year old daughter re-reads the whole Laura Ingalls Wilder series at least once a year. It is a fantastic series. I recently went back and read all the Anne of Green Gables books again, I love them :)

G2's clothes rack was free, lol. I've kinda been wanting a treadmill myself, but I look around and just don't think I have room for another clothes rack :)

Very unfortunate remarks from the lady. Do death and grief give us the perfect excuse to be nasty? Uh-oh. Maybe it is she who's having a second childhood episode. ",)

You could have no way of knowing what her life situation was and it did not give her a right to be nasty. She could have just said she was busy and would get to it as soon as she could.

I love love love Laura!

Happy Pink Saturday

Thanks for the comments. As to the rude lady, I crossed her off my list of people to buy from. I am so happy to hear that so many people share my love of the Laura books.

Having just helped a friend empty her deceased brother's apartment I get the stress of a death, but the seller should have simply put off responding to eBay email at this time.

I boughgt Little House in the Ozarks at Half Price Books. Maybe we could all start a book circle for second childhoods.
