I don't think I have ever had them...brussel sprouts, that is. Nor have I ever trid Okra...Mybe I should resolve to try them so I can hate them like everyone else!
Don't put Okra in the same class as Brussel sprouts. Fried Okra rates right up there with steak in my book. It's also great in vegetable soup. You should go south and eat some of their food. You would love it.
Do you fix fresh or frozen okra? My daughter-in-law is from Brazil and loves the stuff, but says that frozen okra is easier to deal with and loses some of its slime factor.
no resolutions here either! I probably will not eat brussel spouts either although I like them so it is odd that I never eat them.
ReplyDeleteTruth of the matter is, I wish I could follow the first two, but I know how I am.
ReplyDeleteIf only I had the courage...
ReplyDeleteOn the brussle sprout thing, however, I am totally with you. No problems there whatsoever.
Ban the sprouts! Only 3 people in the world would complain.
ReplyDeleteI am not much for resolutions...cause I NEVER keep them!
ReplyDeleteNow those are resolutions I could KEEP!
ReplyDeleteI am with you, Lorrene!
ReplyDeleteMine is similar, except I have a #4:
ReplyDelete4. Read Lorrene's blog every day.

NO DIETING..

GREAT resolutions, I think I will use them...if that's OK with you.
