Just Another Day

My African Violet plant died. I think it was about 10 years old. I did not neglect it. Maybe it committed suicide. It is my fault. I think it needed some new soil.

I've been reading in the Kindle until I'm almost cross-eyed. I have read two complete books and have another started. I didn't know I would enjoy that gadget so much or I would have bought it a long time ago. I am thinking when everybody owns a Kindle they will start charging more for the books. Isn't that the way it goes?
Every time I get on line I have to go to the book store to see what else I might want to read.

I have another annoying appointment tomorrow and outside of my weekly shots I have all those irritating chores out of the way for now.
When I was a kid the doctor would come to you. Can't you just picture that today? They would need to build special roads for all the doctors to use so people wouldn't get in their way.
Back then you didn't see a doctor unless you were half dead. I guess all these doctor visits  is why people live so much longer and I should stop complaining about it and be thankful I can can go to a doctor.

One book I read was about slavery and how terrible it  was. Written by a woman that lived through it. It was a good book. The other was letters written by a woman in the 1800. Somebody had saved the letters and made a book with them. Very good.

I can still remember Dr. Liverman coming to my house and giving me shots for asthma. Love how cheap some Kindle books are. Have a great one.

It's great taking your library with you wherever you go! Kids often can't understand why I prefer the kindle, I explain that I have a shed full of books and if I toted all my books around to every class, well, I'd have no room in my bag for lunch...a few actually get it.

I could never grow a African Violet for some reason. I think Bobbi and Crystal could or would like one they read all the time. Glad you like, or is that love yours.
