Waiting

My smart watch tells me I got 5 hours and 39 minutes of sleep last night and that is rare for me, I never get more than 4 hrs and a few minutes normally. I only got 2 hours of deep sleep last night. I think it's back to the C-Pap for me. But first I will need to go to my primary doctor and he will give me a referral to a sleep doctor. That way they'll all get a piece of the action with the insurance co.
I had company yesterday. My granddaughter, Laura and her family and granddaughter, Katie .came visiting. It was so nice seeing all of them.
It was fun watching those little ones with all the energy. A four year old girl and her 1year old brother. He will be a year old the 9th. That little boy has a smile for everything.  He is a happy go lucky type. Natalia had a little attitude at times but she is adorable.

Not Welcome

The Pandemic can move on out. It has overstayed its welcome. Some places you can remove your mask and some places you can eat inside and some places you can only get take-out. I have a hearing problem and people with hearing problems get pretty good at reading lips, well that skill is useless when they have on a mask.
Huh? What'd ya say? Could you repeat that?
Some people don't have one on and you wonder if they are being rebellious or did they forget it.
I wonder if this age will be known as the Pandemic age.
It doesn't matter to me, with my age I won't be here to look back on it, maybe I can look down on it. I'm just speculating, I'm the great speculator! I speculate  about everything.
I have nothing to write about so now what am I going to do, I am burned out in crocheting.
I had my carpet cleaned and had the room pretty much cleaned out for that and now I think I like the more empty look so I think i'll leave it this way.
I need to find something to do so goodbye, I'm outta here.

Another Day

I've just about had enough!! My blog seemed to have been locked up and I couldn't do a darn thing with it. I could look at it, but I couldn't edit anything or look at my stats or anything. Awhile ago it told me I wasn't signed into my Google account. Why didn't it tell me that 3 days ago. Then I couldn't sign in. That was the wrong password and then I could make a new password. I finally put an old password and it worked.  An old password I haven't used for a long time.
I think there was something else wrong and they finally got it fixed. Probably didn't have anything to do with passwords.
Things are beginning to look better as far as the Pandemic. Thank God for that!
Hopefully I will get to see some of my Tacoma family soon.
Now I am going to find out if I can publish this.

I guess they just started up again.

This is a Test

Sit home and watch the people on TV have fun. I made a new post on my blog today and published it, but when I clicked on the link, my virus protector went into action and said the blog was bad news. Well, it didn't say bad news but it warned you not to click on it. So I kept trying to resolve the issue and nothing I did helped at all so I deleted the blog. Now here I go again.

This is a test!

The Simple Life

My simple life is so simple it is boring and all I can do is sleep. I don't mind seeping during the day, but I hate being wide awake at 2 AM.
I now have a Smartwatch and it tells me how many hours of sleep I get at night, one night I slept 4 hours and 31 minutes. The next night I slept 5 hours and 20 minutes. I have a problem with how I can stay awake during the day and sleep at night. My Smartwatch isn't smart enough to answer that question. I have a cat that tries to control what time I need to arise in the morning, but I took care of that problem with a bottle of water, she hates being squirted with water.
I sometimes wish my cat was a dog, but can't afford the surgery to make that happen.

Summer is on the way!

Boxed Junk

I'm trying to clean out some cupboards . I have dishes I no longer need or ever use.
Well, I don't use it anymore but I like that so I think I'll keep it. I remind myself of the hoarders. I finally decided to put everything in a box, and then I can decide if I want to part with it. I cleaned out two shelves and the top shelf cannot be reached without standing on a little stool I have and it's only about a foot high. Well, forget that! I am afraid to get on it. I would probably break my neck.
By now my back hurts and I need to sit for awhile. What a mess, my table is  covered with junk. So I finally put it all in the box and set the box in the garage, and I took a break. I'm still on the break.
The pantry is next. I'm not sure when I'm going to tackle that one. Maybe never!
Well, I'm sitting here sipping on prune juice, not because I like it but because I need it! Ain't life fun!
Prune juice is terrible, I thought it would be more of a natural laxative and would be better for me.
Yes, I sometimes take Metamucil and Miralax.
I think I'll go back to that method.
I have heard about exercise being good for you, but I think that may be a bogus claim so I think I shall avoid it.

I have no clue why some of the print is small and some is large.

Exciting Life

Not much going on these days, but Ellensburg is planning to have their Ellensburg Rodeo this year. Covid may soon be a thing of our past. We sure hope so anyway.
Flex Paste may be the new fantastic invention. Equal to when Plastic came on the market. I remember it well, back in that day women used many bobby pins to curl their hair with and when the plastic was invented they put plastic on the ends of the bobby pins and it was wonderful. And Mother's had been using rubber panties over the baby's diaper and now the plastic was a huge improvement over the rubber. I can't remember what the bakeries put their bread in. Maybe it was just paper. Plastic was wonderful for that and now it may be banned because it doesn't deteriorate and is causing problems.
Now, they will be thinking up all kinds of things to do with Flex Paste Maybe you can greatly improve the dog's house with it.

It would make it warmer for them in the Winter. Most folks with dogs let them sleep inside. But some folks are picky about their house and no pets allowed.

Chris and I went to lunch and enjoyed  very much.  We could eat inside. Just imagine eating on the inside of a restaurant, will miracles never cease?
Now there is a problem, the restaurants and other businesses are having a problem finding employees. Maybe the Stimulus pay was a mistake. No one needs a job they still have a little money. I know it's a ridiculous theory. You can't live very long on $1400.00
The wind came up and is blowing but nothing close to those winds they get in the South.
This is all I know to ramble about today.

Bumps and Curves

As I travel down the road of life I sometimes look in my rear view mirror and think of some if the bumps and curves I have encountered. I can't remember the day I started to school so it must not have been very impressive. I do remember the long walk to get there and how I met up with neighbor kids along the way. It was a mile and a half but it wasn't uphill both ways. There was one hill on the way. We cut across someones pasture and cut out a few steps. Some kids were lucky enough to ride a pony to school. It would be tied up until time to go home. I had two older brothers and one younger one to walk with. When it was winter you toughened up big time. There were no yellow school busses then. Girls wore dresses at all times. We also wore long stockings in the winter and a garter belt that hooked on to the the stockings.
It wasn't all bad at least we didn't have to worry about anyone getting hooked on drugs, Well, not that I know of anyway.
I know they had alcoholics then. So maybe they did have drug addicts. They would have been few and far between.
I had a calm life I can't think of one big thing that happened except for the time big trucks came by unloading long logs. My Dad went out and asked them what they were for and found that we were going to have electricity in the country, not just in town. Wow! exciting.
Imagine having electric lights.
That is just a few of the changes we've seen over the years.
I am just killing time.
