Blue skies of Tacoma

Don't ask !!! I'm not sure what this represents.
Maddie and her Daddy

Poor Katie couldn't handle those shoes any longer. She lives in flipflops 24/7.

Katie and Melissa (Mother of the flower girl)
This is the only picture I have of the Groom's parents (Lori and TJ) bringing up the rear. I have no idea what those blue things are.

More Wedding pictures

In front of the bride is Terry's brother, TJ (hope I got the name right) and beside the bride is Anthony, a very good friend. When Terry and Laura met the first time it was pre-planned by friends that knew the bride and also knew Terry that they would all go to a football game so Terry and Laura would meet each other. Anyway these two were in on the setup. I think Ashley, the bridesmaid sort of started the whole thing. If I have this wrong I am sure I will hear from Laura. It was a blind date or a set up. Anyway whatever it was it took off and the rest will be history.

A table full of relatives. at the 12 oclock position is Cora, Nancy, Mel, Emily, Ryan, Goldie, Wayne, Bob, Rita, the empty space is for Jim. He is taking the picture or dancing on somebodys table, you never know about Jim. (my family in Oklahoma need to know these things, so I hope the rest of you will not be too bored).

Coming back from the picture taking.

This is Sophia and her mother

This is Chris (Daddy of Sophia and Rita's son)
I have all these pictures and I am going to post them.
I have more for another day.

Engagement Pictures

Note the bare ring finger
Now look at the ring finger

See the ring

Terry pulled this off perfectly and caught Laura totally off guard. Her Dad was in on the scheme so he announced that he was going to the top of the bridge to do something and Laura asked if she could go along and asked if Terry could come along too. This is at the very top of the Tacoma Narrows bridge. I think she is glad she invited Terry to come along.

Beautiful Wedding

This is my Granddaughter, Emily and Ryan's marriage May 26, 2007. It was a beautiful wedding with natural flowers in bloom and a beautiful river in the background. When the minister began the ceremony he began to sniffle and cry and kept wiping his eyes with a handkerchief and I was in awe as to how emotional he was about the event, but I couldn't understand why because he had just met the couple. The Judge, they had planned to perform the ceremony, didn't show up. Can you imagine the Judge being a "no show". Not even a phone call to let them know. The wedding party was waiting in the Limo and the air conditioner stopped working. The guests were waiting on the little chairs in the sunshine and it was getting hotter by the minute. Lots of little innuendo's flying around as to what might have happened. Did the bride back out at the last minute or did the groom back out at the last minute. What could have possibly happened ! The Judge was just a rude jerk I guess. The minister was overcome with allergies to the flowers and not with emotion.

Wedding Anniversary

This is May 21, 2008. It would have been our 62nd Wedding Anniversary. He moved on to his forever home June 14, 1990. I still miss him and always will.
