I had a bunch of trick or treater's last night. I ran out of candy shortly after eight so I locked the door and turned off the lights. I saw some of the cutest costume's. The smallest ones seemed to be sort of puzzled about the whole thing, you couldn't tell if they were having fun or not. They just looked at you like, "who are you" ? There was no doubt the big ones were having fun. They usually came with one or two or more friends and were really having fun. It might be fun to be a kid again. We didn't have trick or treating when I was a kid. We lived in the country and I guess it would be quite a hike to go trick or treating. Since the nearest neighbor lived a half mile away. I think what people did when I was a kid was to do the trick without even giving the option of a treat. I always heard that lots of people had their outhouses tipped over on Halloween night. Now wouldn't that be a shitty trick. I don't usually use such words, but it was just so appropriate I couldn't resist.

Sometimes language needs to be used...since it IS so fitting. Love it! We had a whopping 21 trick-or-treaters and they were all cute.

The kids don't trick or treat anymore.. and we were busy so don't usually hand out candy..

We used to get tons not anymore since the new developments. We did get quite a few that were happy to see Mr. Huffman open the door. Great now they know where we live, LOL.
