Protesting Protesters

I ask a simple question. Is protesting a contagious disease? Since the protesters in Egypt got so much attention there are protesters everywhere. I think the attention they get is what is so contagious. Look at me!!! I am holding up a sign and there are cameras everywhere.

Give me a break and go back to your couch.

More Pictures

The only reason I get online is to see if there are any new postings or pictures of my Granddaughters.

Have you ever seen two happier faces?

The Younger Set

I'm ready to go.

I love to go shopping.

These little dolls are the latest addition to our family. Don't they look like little teenagers, with a cell phone in their hands pressing on buttons.  They are probably texting each other. Spellcheck thinks texting is not a word. Come on dictionaries catch up with the world. Or maybe I should spell it texing. No, that didn't work either. It suggested I spell it taxing. Taxing is not what I mean.

We love our kids to the ends of the earth, even though
they can drive us to the brink of insanity at times.

Life in the Wilds of Oklahoma

Back in the early days our family lived on a farm. Live was simple until one day I observed a snake entering our house through the front door. I was a small kid and just learning how to talk. I would have forgotten this event by now except I heard my mother relate it to everybody she came in contact with for the next 30 years. She was mopping the kitchen floor when I came into the kitchen and said, "Mommy, there is a snake coming in your house". You would have thought it was a Mojave Rattlesnake or maybe an illegal alien from across the border. Mommy went into action. She wielded that mop, soapy water flying all over the house. Bam, bam bam !! She beat that poor snake todeath and then hung it on the clothesline as though it was some kind of trophy. I think we got a new screen door before the sun went down.

Winter Time

What a winter! For some strange reason those of us on the northwest corner of the map have been spared those enormous blizzards. We’ve had snow and ice and cold, but it’s pretty much a normal winter here. I think Mother Nature has something else up her sleeve for us. When we least expect it we’ll get a mountain spewing hot lava or an earthquake. I’m just kidding Mother Nature. We are the good guys and we know you like us best.

Well, I heard my newest great granddaughter on the phone. She can talk up a storm, we just can’t understand her. Chinese is hard to understand, I guess. She couldn’t possible be loved more than she is. She will grow up too fast. They always do. She likes her mother's hair.

Doesn't my Mommy have pretty hair?
