Memories
Things change as the years go by. Today while shopping I asked the youthful looking clerk if they had support hose. She looked at me like I just got off the banana boat, then she turned and started talking to a closed door. She asked the closed door if they have support hose. Then the closed door answered back and said they do not, but they have compression socks. Well, Duh! maybe that's what they call them today, do you have compression socks?
Yes, we have compression socks. I bought the compression socks and they do help.
I added a few pictures of the earlier days.

Nuttin Much
You never miss the water until the well runs dry, but I can assure you I never miss the snow and I never will. It's like living in a prison cell. I am lacking the courage to drive in it so I dream of clear streets and sunny days.
The new year is just around the corner. I have no special plans for the future. Whatever will be, will be. I just hope the Artic blast avoids this section of the country.
I'm expecting!
A new great-grandchild in April or May. If I can count correctly it will make seven great-grand children. I also have six granddaughters.

Ramblings and Pictures
I'm in training. Training myself to stay awake until 10 PM at least.
I have a busy life, busy crocheting or reading. I have my four walls pretty much memorized. I don't have any flowers on my walls to count. Chris (DIL) and I have been looking at apartments in assisted living apartments for the aged, semi-disabled, disgruntled and overbearing. We have found that they will set you up for a tour and lunch. It's right up our alley. We have found some of the best eating we've had in a long time. Some of the apartments are out of my reach by a thousand dollars, but the food is great. The other day we had a fish basket with clams, oysters, shrimp and fries and cheese cake for dessert. Two of the residents sat at our table. We struck up a conversation with them and one of the ladies said her son owns the place. She was 92 and her rent is free.
I will include some random pictures.

Hodgepodge of Old Pictures
I have nothing better to do so will post some old photos.
No rhyme or reason, it's just the Season.
I spent many hours of my youth in this building
listening to the wind whistling around the corner of the building.
When I hear that sound today I am instantly reminded of it.
We called it the School House.
